I can't believe how sore my quads are. Hey, I run 50 miles races and I don't feel this kind of tightness the day after. I guess I did after my first few marathons, though. I remember not being able to walk down the stairs because of the pain. This morning I hobbled down the stairs to my treadmill..where it took me 10 minutes before I could get to 7 mph! Sheesh. I was ready to bag the workout but I kept on going. Got of the treadmill to stretch it out and hobbled back on for another 25 minutes. Will take Topaz out for 4 miles tonight.
It's damn cold. Below zero again this morning with a sharp wind. I am getting sick of this MN weather and really, it's been a mild winter.

I'm hungry all the time. Well, not all the time. I guess I'm thinking I'm hungry while at work. Maybe because I'm just sitting here and am thinking about it. I don't have any desire to eat after my 6th meal at 6 PM or so. I'm busy with the kids, going to meetings, their sports, etc. But during the work day...I'm starving.
It's 9 AM, I had my M1 at 6:30 and had my M2 at 8:30 and am thinking about lunch...at 9 AM!! I do have an apple for emergency; I might have to bring it out!
I'm realizing I was eating much more than I let myself believe. How can a person lie to themself? I was. I was eating peanut butter every day, tablespoons of it. At least a few tablespoons that I didn't record (prior to LL). I was logging in Fitday while doing BFL and never recorded that. I didn't record the light mayo on my Subway either, nor did I record the spoonful of the kids cereal I ate here and there. That does add up; it isn't 'free'. I'm being honest with myself here, relying on the numbers and wishing that the pounds would melt away more quickly. It is so slow. Right. It's been a week and 2 days. It's barely begun and I'm already trying to rush things. I always want instant gratification. Enjoy the process; enjoy learning about yourself, enjoy working the fat off...yeah.
Oh, the team I am on for bootcamp is in first place. FIRST PLACE. The team that wins this gets tickets to LV or Orlando or somewhere. When I told my son, Tyler, that the team that wins goes to Las Vegas he said "Mom, why are you so excited? You'll hate it there. It is smoky and they gamble and they are drunk.." Wow, he sure knows his Mom! I told him I'd lay around the pool soaking in the sun. Probably wouldn't look at the casino!
OK, off to heat up a cup of green tea to ward off the evil hungries....
